Effective Date: May 10, 2025
Welcome to NoLegalPaisa. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the NoLegalPaisa website and services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. The following Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Kaahmuchee Solution Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as “NoLegalPaisa.com”, “NLP”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), the owner and operator of the website NoLegalPaisa.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Website” or “Site” or “Platform”).
2. By accessing or using the Website, and/or by registering an account with us, you signify that you have read and agree to these Terms of Service (hereinafter, the “Terms” or “Agreement”). You also consent to the information practices disclosed in our Privacy Policy (which is incorporated into these Terms by reference) and agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations of India. Please note that we offer the Website and Services “AS IS” and without warranties (as detailed below).
3. If you are using the Website on behalf of an individual or entity other than yourself, you represent that you are authorised to accept these Terms on that individual’s or entity’s behalf.
4. Eligibility: You affirm that you are at least 18 years of age (and are otherwise legally competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872) and thus capable of entering into a binding agreement. If you do not agree with any of these Terms, do not use this Website or any of our Services.
5. We may at any time, in our sole discretion, modify, add, or remove features or services offered on NoLegalPaisa.com, or alter the way the Website operates, without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for any updates. Your continued usage/accessing of the Website after changes to the Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
6. In this Agreement, the “Service” refers to the NoLegalPaisa.com platform and all related services provided by us. The words “you” or “User” refer to anyone who accesses or uses the Service (whether as a seeker of services or as a service provider). The term “Professional” refers to any third-party service provider accessible through our platform, including, but not limited to, advocates (lawyers), chartered accountants (CAs), company secretaries (CSs), mediators, or other qualified experts who offer services via NoLegalPaisa.com.
7. Various services on the Platform follow standardised operational workflows. These flows include the creation of a dialogue box between the User, Professionals, and the NLP Admin, document uploads by Users, scheduled consultations, and payment processes. These standardised workflows form part of these Terms by reference and shall be deemed to have been accepted by the User when using the relevant service.
8. By using our Service, you understand and agree that NoLegalPaisa.com is an intermediary platform that facilitates interactions, transactions and transmission of data between Users and Professionals. This Agreement does not create any professional-client or attorney-client or principal-agent relationship between you and NoLegalPaisa.com. Such relationships may be formed only between Users and the Professionals they engage through the platform, subject to separate terms as may be agreed between them.
9. NoLegalPaisa.com is an online portal that facilitates communication and transactions between Users and various Professionals offering legal, financial, and compliance services. NoLegalPaisa.com acts as a venue for providers and consumers of professional services to exchange information/payment with the goal of potentially forming an independent professional-client relationship. NoLegalPaisa.com does not guarantee that Users will successfully find a suitable Professional, obtain litigation funding, or achieve any specific outcome through our platform. We take no position and offer no opinion or guarantee on when, or if, a formal Professional-client relationship (e.g., attorney-client or CA-client relationship) is established between a User and a Professional — that is solely determined by the parties involved.
10. In order to provide an optimal forum for connecting advisors and clients, NoLegalPaisa.com does not participate in or influence the agreements or terms between Users and Professionals, nor do we partake in the actual representation or advice provided by the Professionals (except for facilitating the initial connection and interactions through the platform). We cannot ensure that a User or Professional will ultimately fulfil their obligations in any engagement. You, the User, are solely responsible for evaluating and selecting a Professional suitable for your needs, and for assessing the integrity, honesty, suitability, and trustworthiness of all persons with whom you communicate via this Platform. Each Professional may have their own engagement terms or client service agreement; you must review and understand those terms before you formally engage a Professional.
11. While the Platform facilitates communication by creating a dialogue room and coordinating administrative tasks such as scheduling calls, sending notices, and assigning professionals, these actions are purely facilitative. They do not (under any circumstance) constitute legal representation, agency, partnership or professional advice of any kind and in any manner.
12. you must review and understand those terms, providing a technology platform for information exchange and transaction facilitation. We do not initiate the transmission of any content between Users and Professionals, or modify any information contained in such transmissions. Any agreement for professional services is solely between you and the Professional. NoLegalPaisa.com is not a party to those contracts and does not charge any fees for the professional services (aside from platform facilitation fees). Consequently, NoLegalPaisa.com is not responsible or liable for the quality or outcome of any services provided by the Professionals. You agree that any claim or dispute arising from services provided by a Professional shall be brought only against the respective Professional and not against NoLegalPaisa.com.
13. NoLegalPaisa.com is not an agent, law firm, partner, employer, or representative of the Professionals listed on the platform. We solely facilitate communication and transactions between Users and Professionals. Any electronic communication sent to NoLegalPaisa.com (through the Website or otherwise) will not create a professional-client relationship (such as an attorney-client or accountant-client, principal-agent, principal-independent contractor relationship) between you and NoLegalPaisa.com; any such relationship is expressly denied. NoLegalPaisa.com itself does not provide legal, accounting, or other professional advice to Users. The role of NoLegalPaisa.com is limited to connecting you with independent Professionals, providing automated tools for your use, and facilitating transactions thereto.
14. NoLegalPaisa.com aims to help each User find a Professional suited to their needs. However, our platform is not an advertising space or solicitation tool for any specific Professional. The content on the Website (including any profiles of Professionals) should not be construed as professional advice or an endorsement of any particular individual. We may use algorithms or inputs to suggest or match Professionals to a User’s requirements, but such suggestions do not guarantee quality or fit. Transmission of data/information by NoLegalPaisa.com, use of NoLegalPaisa.com, or issuance of invoice/documents by NoLegalPaisa.com does not constitute or create a professional-client relationship between you and NoLegalPaisa.com. We encourage Users to independently review and evaluate Professional profiles and credentials and make an informed choice. NoLegalPaisa.com does not guarantee the correctness or completeness of any information provided by Professionals on their profiles.
15. NoLegalPaisa.com endeavours to protect User privacy and information. For certain interactions (for example, when you submit a request describing your issue), our system may initially withhold your personal contact information from Professionals until you choose to share it or engage with a Professional through the platform. While we strive to maintain confidentiality, please note that initial communications on the platform are not privileged or wholly private. Professionals generally should not request, and Users should not share, highly sensitive or confidential details about a case in the initial inquiry or chat. You should describe your issue in general terms at first. Only after you have decided to hire a particular Professional (and preferably moved to a secure, direct communication channel with them) should you disclose specific confidential information necessary to the engagement. Although we implement security measures, using the internet for transmitting information carries inherent risks. NoLegalPaisa.com cannot guarantee that information provided through the platform will remain confidential in all circumstances, especially if any security breach or unauthorised access beyond our control occurs. We are not responsible for any unauthorised use or disclosure of any information you post on our platform.
16. Any informational content provided by NoLegalPaisa.com – including frequently asked questions (FAQs), articles, guides, sample documents, or automated document generation tools – is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice. No content on the Website should be interpreted as legal, accounting, tax, or other professional advice specific to your situation. Users are advised to consult with a qualified Professional for advice tailored to their unique circumstances. The tools and information on our platform are not a substitute for consulting with licensed professionals.
17. NoLegalPaisa.com grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our document templates and generated forms for your own personal or internal business use (or, if you are a Professional User, for use with a specific client). You agree not to resell or redistribute any documents, forms, or content obtained from NoLegalPaisa.com, except with our express written consent. This means you shall not modify, copy, reproduce, create derivative works of, or distribute the forms or other content from our Platform/its services, for any purpose. You may make necessary modifications to a form required for facilitating the authorised usage of such form, but you may not remove any proprietary notices or branding. Unauthorised resale or mass distribution of NoLegalPaisa.com materials is a violation of our intellectual property rights and may result in legal action.
18. NoLegalPaisa.com makes no representation or warranty (express or implied) as to the ability, competence, expertise, or quality of any Professional listed on our platform or of any service or advice provided by such Professional. We do not and cannot guarantee that any advice given by a Professional is correct or will achieve your desired outcome.
19. Please note that NoLegalPaisa.com and its employees are not lawyers, chartered accountants, company secretaries, or other licensed professionals in the context of the services being facilitated. We are not a law firm or professional advisory firm, and we do not directly provide legal, tax, or accounting advice. Nothing on our Website (including any content we provide to you in communications) should be construed as professional advice from NoLegalPaisa.com.
20. Our website content, blog posts, newsletters, or other educational materials are provided solely for general informational and awareness purposes. They are not substitutes for advice from a qualified Professional who is aware of the details of your specific situation.
21. Where needed to fulfil your requests, NoLegalPaisa.com will facilitate connecting you with an appropriate Professional (such as an advocate, CA, CS, mediator). Keep in mind that these Professionals are independent and are not our agents or employees. NoLegalPaisa.com provides one of many channels through which you can seek professional help; you may have other alternatives, and you are free to consider multiple options before choosing a Professional.
22. The decision to engage any Professional (including entering into any agreement for legal representation, consultation, compliance work, or litigation funding) is entirely your decision and should be made carefully. NoLegalPaisa.com does not guarantee any particular outcome from engaging a Professional through our platform. If you do not agree with any of these Terms, or do not want us to facilitate a connection with a Professional on your behalf, you should refrain from using our Services.
23. NoLegalPaisa.com facilitates User access to a diverse range of services provided by independent Professionals or through our platform’s tools. Our Services include, but are not limited to, the following:
24. We grant Users a non-exclusive, limited right to access and use NoLegalPaisa.com and our Services for lawful purposes, conditioned on your compliance with these Terms. To keep our platform safe, trustworthy, and legally compliant, all Users must adhere to the following guidelines. NoLegalPaisa.com reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service (and take any appropriate legal action) if you engage in any of the prohibited activities below or otherwise violate these Terms.
25. Users must not engage in any of the following activities on our Website or through our Services (such behaviour will not be tolerated):
26. If a User violates any of the above rules or any other provision of these Terms, NoLegalPaisa.com may, in its sole discretion, remove or block the offending content, terminate or restrict the User’s account, and/or report the behaviour to law enforcement or appropriate authorities if necessary. We want to cultivate a respectful and lawful community on NoLegalPaisa.com, and we appreciate Users reporting any suspected misconduct or violations to us.
27. Users acknowledge and agree that they are solely and exclusively responsible for the accuracy, completeness, authenticity, legality, validity, timeliness, and continued correctness of all information, data, statements, representations, and documents (including but not limited to records, filings, identification documents, financial information, authorizations, and supporting materials) that are uploaded, submitted, transmitted, or otherwise shared on or through the Platform or with any professionals engaged through the Platform.
28. The Platform and the professionals providing services through the Platform do not independently verify, audit, validate, or authenticate the information or documents provided by Users, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing. All professionals shall be entitled to rely, and shall rely entirely and in good faith, on the information and documentation furnished by the User for the purposes of providing services.
29. Any delay, deficiency, rejection, objection, penalty, fine, loss, damage, adverse outcome, non-compliance, or failure to meet statutory, regulatory, contractual, or procedural requirements arising directly or indirectly from inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, outdated, forged, or otherwise defective information or documentation provided by the User shall be the sole responsibility of the User. The Platform and the professionals shall have no liability whatsoever for such consequences.
30. Users further agree to promptly update or replace any information or documentation previously provided if it becomes inaccurate, incomplete, invalid, or outdated at any time during the course of engagement.
31. Users are solely responsible for any delay, rejection, penalty or compliance failure arising from incorrect or incomplete documents/information shall be the sole responsibility of the user.
32. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Platform, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and the professionals engaged through the Platform from and against any and all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, penalties, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with any breach of this clause or the provision of incorrect, incomplete, unlawful, or misleading information or documents by the User.
33. NoLegalPaisa.com provides a platform where information related to legal and professional services is made available, including content provided by Professionals and by NoLegalPaisa.com for general knowledge. While we strive to keep information on the Website accurate and up-to-date, NoLegalPaisa.com does not warrant or guarantee the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or currentness of any information available through the Service. The legal landscape (and other professional domains) is constantly changing, and materials or answers that may have been correct at one time might become outdated. Use any information on our Site at your own risk.
34. Any information on NoLegalPaisa.com is provided for general informational purposes only and is not guaranteed to be correct or complete. NoLegalPaisa.com assumes no liability for how you interpret or use information obtained on our Site. In practical terms, this means that even if you read an article, guide, or answer on our Site, you should not rely on it as definitive advice for your particular situation. We strongly encourage you to consult directly with a qualified Professional for personalised guidance.
35. Where we provide links to external websites or resources, those links are provided for convenience and informational purposes. NoLegalPaisa.com does not endorse and is not responsible for the content on any third-party websites. We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy or safety of the content on other websites linked from our platform. Clicking on third-party links is at your own discretion.
36. NoLegalPaisa.com will make a reasonable effort to remove any content that we determine to be promotional material or self-advertising by Professionals beyond what is permitted. For example, Professionals are expected to make factual, helpful contributions rather than blatant advertisements for their services; any content that violates our guidelines may be deleted. Apart from that moderation, please be aware that opinions and statements posted by Users (including Professionals) are solely those of the individual author and do not reflect the opinions of NoLegalPaisa.com. We generally do not verify user-submitted content (such as answers in forums, comments, or profile statements) for accuracy or truthfulness. Use due caution and critical judgment when reading content on our site.
37. We attempt to verify the credentials of Professionals who register on our platform (for example, we may check if an advocate is enrolled with a Bar Council, or if a CA is a member of ICAI, at the time of onboarding). However, we cannot continuously monitor or guarantee that each Professional remains in good standing or maintains their qualifications over time. (A lawyer might be suspended, unknown to us, or a CA might let their membership lapse.) Therefore, NoLegalPaisa.com makes no ongoing warranty or representation regarding the current status, license, or ability of any Professional listed on our Site. It is advisable that Users perform their own checks or ask the Professional for up-to-date credentials if this is important to you.
38. Choosing a lawyer, accountant, or any professional is an important decision that should not be made lightly or solely based on online information. Users are urged to conduct independent research and evaluation of any Professional they consider hiring. This might include reviewing the Professional’s qualifications, experience, client reviews (if available), and even having an initial discussion with them. Don’t rely solely on claims of expertise—verify information when possible. NoLegalPaisa.com does not endorse any statements by Professionals about their specialties or experience. If a Professional profile claims a specialization or specific experience, it is the User’s responsibility to ask for more details or proof of those claims. Some fields of law or practice in India do not have formal certifications, so a claim of specialization does not mean an officially recognized qualification. Always use your judgment and when in doubt, consult more than one source or professional.
39. NoLegalPaisa.com is not responsible for any statements, advice, or promises made by Professionals or other users, whether on our Site or off-site, as a result of a connection made on our platform. If a Professional provides you with a particular opinion or outcome prediction, that is between you and them—NoLegalPaisa.com cannot be held liable if that information turns out to be incorrect or if the outcome differs. We are simply facilitating the communication channel.
40. In summary, use the information obtained on NoLegalPaisa.com wisely and at your own risk. Always consider seeking a second opinion on critical matters. We aim to be a helpful resource, but we cannot ensure that every piece of information is applicable to your situation or compliant with the latest laws and regulations.
41. At various places on NoLegalPaisa.com, Users may be able to post content such as reviews of Professionals, feedback, comments, questions, or other contributions (collectively, “User Content”). For example, a User might leave a review about the service they received from a lawyer, or comment on a forum question.
42. NoLegalPaisa.com is not the author or publisher of User Content; we are merely acting as a passive conduit for the distribution of that content. We generally do not pre-screen or edit the content posted by Users. As a result, we disclaim all responsibility and liability for User Content. This means if another User posts something false, misleading, or offensive, the responsibility lies with that User, not with NoLegalPaisa.com.
43. However, we do reserve the right (but do not assume the obligation) to remove or block any User Content that comes to our attention and that we consider inappropriate, illegal, or in violation of these Terms. We rely on community reports as well as our own monitoring. If any content posted by a User is brought to our notice and we determine, at our discretion, that it violates our guidelines or applicable law (for example, it’s defamatory, obscene, infringing, or inciting unlawful action), we will remove it as soon as reasonably possible. We are not required to notify the User who posted it, though we may in some cases.
44. Whether material is considered “offending” or in breach of our Terms will be determined by NoLegalPaisa.com at its sole discretion. Users do not have a guaranteed right to have their content remain on the site if it’s flagged by us or others as problematic.
45. Please also note that User reviews and feedback reflect individual experiences and opinions. NoLegalPaisa.com does not verify them and do not represent our views. Take them with a grain of salt and consider the overall context.
46. By posting User Content on our platform, you also agree to abide by the rules in Section IV (User Guidelines) and understand that violating those rules can lead to the removal of your content or other consequences.
47. All content and materials available on NoLegalPaisa.com (including text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, software, and other design elements) are the property of NoLegalPaisa.com or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you permission to access and use the Website and Services for your personal or internal business use in connection with the intended purposes of our platform (such as obtaining professional services or providing them, if you are a Professional). Any other use of the site content is strictly prohibited.
48. In particular, when using NoLegalPaisa.com, you agree that you will not do any of the following:
49. Any unauthorised use of the Website or its content may violate copyright laws, trademark laws, privacy and publicity laws, and communication regulations and statutes. NoLegalPaisa.com reserves the right to terminate the account or access of any person/entity who engages in unauthorised activities. If you are unsure whether a particular use of the Site or its content is permitted, please get in touch with us for clarification before proceeding.
50. We understand that in using our platform, you may share sensitive or confidential information regarding your legal or business matters. NoLegalPaisa.com is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of information you submit on our Website to the greatest extent possible in accordance with law. Our systems incorporate security measures (such as encryption, secure logins, etc.) to protect your data. Information that you provide to us for the purpose of seeking services (e.g., details about a legal issue when posting a request, or documents you upload for a Professional’s review) will be used and disclosed only in accordance with our Privacy Policy and these Terms.
51. However, it is essential to recognise that electronic communications (especially over the internet) have inherent security risks. Email and online forms are not 100% secure. There is a possibility (albeit small) that information you send through the Website could be intercepted by third parties or subject to technical failures. By using our Service, you acknowledge these risks.
52. Practical tips to protect your confidentiality as a User: In initial communications or inquiries on our platform, describe your problem in general terms without revealing highly sensitive details (names, specific financial figures, etc.) until you engage directly with a Professional. For example, instead of writing “My company ABC Pvt Ltd with PAN 1234 committed tax fraud of Rs. 5 crore last year,” in an initial query, you might write “I have a serious tax compliance issue for a company and need advice.” The detailed specifics can be shared with the Professional once you have established contact and entered into a confidentiality agreement with the specific professional and perhaps moved to a secure channel on the Platform if needed.
53. NoLegalPaisa.com will not intentionally disclose any private communications between Users and Professionals facilitated through our platform, except as required to provide the Service or as required by law.
54. We have administrative and technical personnel who may, in the course of their duties, need to access certain data (for example, for site maintenance, customer support, or investigating reported issues). Further, by using the dialogue-box feature on the Platform, you acknowledge and consent to the Platform Admin having access to the communication for administrative, security, and quality purposes. All these personnel are bound by confidentiality obligations.
55. Despite these measures, we cannot promise absolute confidentiality. For instance, if there is a software bug or an unauthorized intrusion, some information could be exposed. By using the site, you accept that risk.
56. If you are a Professional using the Service, you likewise should treat initial communications via NoLegalPaisa.com as non-confidential until you have established direct contact with the User and done your own conflict checks and formal engagement, including signing of a confidentiality agreement with the Client. Do not ask for or give any information that could waive privilege inadvertently or breach confidentiality rules of your profession during initial chats.
57. Finally, NoLegalPaisa.com is not liable for any unintended loss or disclosure of information that occurs due to factors beyond our reasonable control, such as hacking, phishing, malware attacks, or system failure, provided we have taken reasonable precautions to protect the information. We will, however, notify affected users and take steps to mitigate any damage if such events occur, as per our legal obligations.
58. In summary, we take confidentiality seriously and implement reasonable security, but you also must exercise caution in what you share and how you share it on our platform.
59. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NoLegalPaisa.com (and its parent company Kaahmuchee Solution Pvt. Ltd., as well as our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents) from and against any and all losses, liabilities, claims, demands, damages, expenses, or costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and legal costs) arising out of or related to:
60. In plain terms, this means if your actions result in a claim or expense against us, you will cover those costs.
61. This indemnification obligation includes, without limitation, paying for NoLegalPaisa.com’s attorneys’ fees and court costs in defending against such claims, as well as any damages or amounts that we are required to pay, whether by judgment or settlement.
62. We reserve the right, at our own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you. If we do so, you agree that you will cooperate with our defense of that claim. You further agree not to settle any such matter without the prior written consent of NoLegalPaisa.com. (This is to ensure that any settlement is acceptable to us, particularly if it involves any obligation or admission on the part of NoLegalPaisa.com.)
63. This indemnification provision will survive any termination of your account or the Service. That means even if you stop using NoLegalPaisa.com or your account is closed, you would still be and continue being responsible for indemnifying us for acts you took while you were a user.
64. NoLegalPaisa.com is not responsible for any failure to store, or loss of, data or communications transmitted on or through the Service. By using our Service, you understand that technical issues or maintenance may from time to time result in data loss, deletion, or delivery failures for messages or content you attempt to post or transmit.
65. We urge Users to keep their own separate backups of any important documents or information uploaded to the Service. For example, if you upload a draft document or a detailed query, keep a copy on your own device. While we do our best to maintain reliable systems, we cannot guarantee that data stored on our servers will never be lost or corrupted.
66. We perform regular backups and have backup systems in place, but even backups have limits and can fail. We are not liable for any accidental deletion or loss of content or files you may experience.
67. Additionally, we reserve the right to delete inactive or deprecated data in the ordinary course of business (for example, deleting account information for accounts that have been inactive for a very long period, or deleting attachments that are no longer needed). Our data retention policies are further described in the Privacy Policy.
68. In summary, please do not rely on NoLegalPaisa.com as the sole repository for any important information. We shall not be responsible for any loss of data resulting from routine network outages, system failures, backups failing, file corruption, or any other cause.
69. The Platform reserves the sole and absolute right, at its discretion, to allocate, assign, replace, substitute, or reassign any professional, advisor, consultant, or service provider (“Professional”) made available through the Platform. Such decisions may be based on, without limitation, availability, workload, expertise, suitability, jurisdictional considerations, conflict checks, regulatory requirements, or operational needs.
70. The allocation or assignment of a Professional does not constitute a guarantee or representation that the same Professional will remain continuously available for the entire duration of the purchased service, for any specific timeframe, or for any subsequent or related services. The Platform does not warrant uninterrupted access to any particular Professional and may, where reasonably necessary, reassign the service to another Professional of comparable qualification or experience.
71. The availability of any Professional is limited to the scope, duration, and terms of the specific service purchased through the Platform. Any engagement, communication, or assistance provided by a Professional is strictly confined to the defined scope of the purchased service, and no ongoing, continuing, or future availability—whether during or after completion of the service—should be implied.
72. The Platform makes no representations or guarantees regarding the outcome, continuity, or performance of any Professional, and shall not be liable for any delays, substitutions, interruptions, or changes in Professional assignment, provided that the Platform uses reasonable efforts to ensure service continuity in accordance with the applicable service description.
73. Nothing in this provision shall be construed as creating an employment relationship, partnership, agency, or exclusive engagement between the Platform and any Professional, or between the user and any Professional, beyond the limited purpose of delivering the purchased service.
74. When you upload, post, or submit any content or material to NoLegalPaisa.com (for example, when you ask a question, post a review, provide a comment, or submit documents or forms), you are granting us certain rights needed to operate and improve our Service. You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights that you hold in the content you post, but you give us a broad license to use it.
75. Specifically, by submitting or posting content on our platform, you grant NoLegalPaisa.com (and our successors and affiliates) a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, distribute, adapt, modify, translate, create derivative works from, publicly display, and publicly perform that content, in any form or medium now known or later developed. This license is provided so that we canoperate the Service (for example, display your question to Professionals, format your content for different devices, or include your testimonial on our site) and promote or improve our services (for example, using snippets of questions in a help section or as examples, or aggregating data to spot trends and make product improvements). If you later delete content from the platform, our license will end for future use, but we may retain archival copies and will maintain the license for those copies (we generally won’t use deleted content moving forward, but it might remain on backup servers or in logs).
76. If you submit any feedback, suggestions, or ideas regarding NoLegalPaisa.com or our Services, you agree that we may use and share such feedback for any purpose without compensating you.
77. Important: This content license does not apply to any private or sensitive information you provide solely for the purpose of obtaining professional advice or services, where you have an expectation of privacy. For instance, if you upload personal documents for your lawyer through a private client portal on our platform, we will not use those documents for marketing or other purposes beyond providing the service to you, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We draw a distinction between content intended to be public or shared (like questions, reviews, etc., which our system might publish) and content intended to be private (like confidential case information shared with a specific Professional).
78. NoLegalPaisa.com assures Users that any personal information or sensitive data provided in a confidential context will be handled according to our Privacy Policy. We will not intentionally disclose personal data or client confidential information to third parties except as permitted by our Privacy Policy, as required to perform the Service (e.g., sharing your info with a Professional you choose to contact), or as required by law (e.g., a court order).
79. In summary, you allow us to use your posted content to run and grow our platform, but we respect the confidentiality of any information that is by its nature private or submitted in a private manner. The content license here is mainly to cover things like forum posts, questions, and other contributions that help the community or help us improve the service.
80. All content available through our Service (except for content you or other users provide) is owned by NoLegalPaisa.com or our licensors and is protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws. This includes the compilation of all content, the look and feel of the site, our trademarks, logos, and all proprietary material on the platform.
81. We give you a limited license to access and use this content for the purposes the Service is intended for (e.g., reading information, obtaining services). Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of our intellectual property to you. You agree not to use NoLegalPaisa.com’s name, logos, or trademarks in any way without our prior written permission.
82. You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any content from our Site (whether text, images, software, or other materials) unless: (a) it is content you have posted and you have rights to it, or (b) you have our explicit written consent, or (c) it is expressly permitted by these Terms. For example, you cannot scrape our list of lawyers and publish it elsewhere, nor can you clone our website’s design.
83. To clarify, normal use of the website is allowed – you can, of course, download or print pages for your personal use (such as printing a legal article for reference, or saving a copy of your conversation transcript for your records). But you cannot, for instance, compile a bunch of our articles into a book or database and publish it, or use our trademarks meta-tags to attract visits to your own competing site/any other site.
84. If you want to share something from NoLegalPaisa.com publicly (like on social media or in a blog), please share a link to the page on our site rather than copying the content.
85. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by NoLegalPaisa.com. If you breach these terms regarding our intellectual property, we may terminate your access and pursue legal remedies.
86. If you believe that any content on our Site infringes your intellectual property rights (for example, a User posted material they don’t have the rights to), please notify us using the contact information on our Site, so that we can review and address the situation.
87. We welcome users and other websites to link to the homepage of NoLegalPaisa.com as a way to refer people to our platform. You may create a hyperlink to our homepage, provided that the link does not portray NoLegalPaisa.com or our services in a false, misleading, derogatory, or otherwise defamatory manner. For example, you can have a text link that says “Find lawyers at NoLegalPaisa.com” or similar.
88. When linking to our site, do not “frame” our content or make it appear as part of another website. The link should open our site in a new browser window or tab, and the appearance of our site should not be altered by your site’s formatting.
89. You must not remove, obscure, or alter any notices on our site, such as copyright notices or terms.
90. We reserve the right to ask you to remove any link to our site if we feel it is inappropriate or misleading. Upon such a request, you agree to immediately remove the link.
91. Please note that permission to link to our homepage does not imply permission to use any of our logos or other trademarks. If you want to use our logo as part of the link (for instance, a NoLegalPaisa.com icon), you must obtain explicit permission from us.
92. Additionally, linking to internal pages (sometimes called “deep linking”) is generally allowed for non-commercial, informational purposes (for instance, sharing a link to a specific blog post), but we reserve the right to prohibit deep linking in certain cases if it bypasses important information or context.
93. In short: Feel free to link to us, but don’t do it in a way that harms us, confuses users, or violates any laws.
94. NoLegalPaisa.com may display advertisements or sponsored content (for example, banner ads or sponsored listings) as part of our Service. If you correspond with or engage with advertisers found on our Service, that communication or transaction is solely between you and the advertiser.
95. We do not guarantee or endorse any product or service that is advertised on our Site, unless we explicitly state so. Any advertisements are the responsibility of the advertiser to ensure that they are accurate and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
96. Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that their ads do not contain any fraudulent or misleading statements and that they comply with all applicable advertising standards. We will not be liable for any issues arising from transactions or dealings you have with advertisers or the content of their advertisements on our platform.
97. If you believe an advertisement on our site is inappropriate or in violation of our guidelines or policies, you can report it to us for review.
98. NoLegalPaisa.com is not responsible for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as a result of your dealings with advertisers or as a result of the presence of third-party advertisements on our Site.
99. Certain features of NoLegalPaisa.com (such as asking a question, posting a project, or providing a service as a Professional) may require you to create an account and register with us. If you choose to register or provide information to us, you agree to:
100. NoLegalPaisa.com reserves the right to refuse registration or cancel an account in our discretion. Grounds for cancellation may include, but are not limited to, violation of these Terms, inactivity for an extended period, or suspected fraudulent or harmful behaviour.
101. If we terminate or disable your account due to a breach of these Terms, you may not create another account without our permission.
102. Our use of any personal data you provide in the registration process is governed by our Privacy Policy.
103. NoLegalPaisa.com strives to provide a smooth and error-free experience, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be without errors, bugs, or interruptions. Complex software and platforms may have issues that we will need to address as they arise.
104. We do not warrant that the functions or content contained on our Website will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, that defects will be corrected promptly, or that our site or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components.
105. There may be times when the website is unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, network failures, or other reasons. We will try to schedule maintenance during off-peak hours and provide notice when feasible, but we cannot guarantee no downtime.
106. There might be typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in content (including descriptions of services, fees, availability, etc.). NoLegalPaisa.com reserves the right to correct any errors or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice. If we discover an error that impacts a service you have ordered or rely on, we may attempt to inform you if it’s feasible.
107. While we have implemented security measures and scanning, we cannot promise that our site will be free of viruses, malware, or other harmful components. It’s important that you use up-to-date antivirus and security software on your own device for your protection.
108. We welcome feedback from users on issues or potential improvements. If you spot an error or bug, you can report it to our support team.
109. To the extent permitted by law, NoLegalPaisa.com will not be liable for any technical problems or software glitches that result in your inability to use the Service as intended, but we will do our best to fix problems that arise and are reported.
110. The NoLegalPaisa.com platform may include content provided by third parties (such as other
users, Professionals, or external content sources) or links to third-party websites.
Examples: a blog post written by a guest author, a legal news feed, or a link
to a government website for forms.
111. Be aware that:
112. In short, treat third-party content on our platform with appropriate caution: verify it independently if it’s important, and be mindful that it’s not content authored by NoLegalPaisa.com, and/or sanctioned/approved/endorsed by it.
113. NoLegalPaisa.com reserves the right to investigate complaints or reported violations of these Terms and to take any action we deem appropriate in response. This can include actions both within the platform and externally.
114. We may gather information about suspected violations and involve and cooperate with law enforcement authorities in prosecuting users who are involved in unlawful activities.
115. If we suspect that any User content or behaviour is unlawful (for example, involved in fraud, identity theft, spreading malware, making threats, etc.), we can report the facts to law enforcement and provide any and all relevant information, such as user profile data, IP addresses, usage history, communications, or any content that has been posted or transmitted.
116. We may also report suspected illegal activities to regulatory or professional bodies. For instance, if a disbarred lawyer is illegally offering legal advice through our platform, we may notify the Bar Council or other appropriate authority.
117. We have the right to disclose any information (including your identity and contact information, account records, and content submitted) as necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request. This means if a court issues a subpoena for information or a police department issues a lawful request, we may comply after verifying its legitimacy.
118. Additionally, we may take action within our platform, including, issuing warnings, temporary suspension of accounts, or permanent termination of accounts found to be engaging in prohibited or illegal conduct.
119. NoLegalPaisa.com also reserves the right to notify other users that may have been affected by a user’s unlawful activities. For example, if we terminate a Professional for unlawful conduct, we might inform their recent clients on the platform that this occurred, if relevant.
120. Please note: We value privacy, and we will not casually hand over user information. But if we have a good-faith belief that disclosure of information is reasonably necessary to
121. By using the Service, you consent to this potential disclosure of information and waive any claims against NoLegalPaisa.com for the acts of third parties (including law enforcement) that we cooperate with in accordance with this section.
122. If NoLegalPaisa.com determines that you have violated any of the provisions of these Terms or have engaged in any behaviour that is harmful to our interests or the interests of others, we reserve the right to pursue any and all legal and equitable remedies available.
123. Possible actions include, but are not limited to:
124. The fact that we choose one type of remedy (say, removing content) does not preclude us from later seeking additional remedies (like legal action) if warranted. Conversely, our failure to act immediately on a violation does not mean we waive any rights to enforce the Terms later. Every situation is considered independently.
125. Users understand that NoLegalPaisa.com will not be liable for any damages that may result from our termination of your access or removal of your content as a result of your violation of these Terms.
126. For Users seeking professional assistance, it's important to be aware that Professionals on our platform do not automatically perform conflict of interest checks prior to responding to your inquiries in the initial stages.
127. When you first submit a request or question to the platform, multiple Professionals might review it to determine if they can assist you. At this preliminary stage, the information you provide is usually limited and may not include the names of all parties involved in your matter. Without full information (such as the identities of adverse parties, related entities, etc.), a Professional cannot do a comprehensive conflict’s check (which would normally involve checking if they or their firm have represented any other party in your matter or a related matter).
128. Therefore, initial responses or communications from a Professional on the platform do not guarantee that the Professional has no conflicts pertaining to you/your case. They initial responses/communications are just preliminary in nature. Before you formally engage a Professional (e.g., hire a lawyer through our platform), it is standard practice for the Professional to ask you for more details (names of all parties involved, etc.) and to run a proper conflict check in accordance with their professional obligations.
129. Users are advised that it is your responsibility to seek disclosure of potential conflicts from the Professional once you move toward formal engagement by sharing all relevant information with the professional for the same. For instance, if you are seeking help with a contract dispute, you should tell the lawyer the names of the other parties (the opposing party, related businesses, etc.) as soon as you are seriously discussing hiring them, so they can confirm they have no conflict.
130. Professionals registered on NoLegalPaisa.com are likewise reminded of their duty: Once a potential engagement gets serious, they should collect enough information from the User to run a comprehensive conflicts check (for lawyers, per Bar Council rules; for CAs, per ICAI guidelines; etc.). If a conflict is discovered, the Professional should decline the engagement in accordance with their ethical duties.
131. NoLegalPaisa.com does not perform conflict checks on behalf of Professionals. We facilitate the connection, but the onus is on the Professional and User to ensure that no conflict of interest exists before proceeding with a confidential consultation or formal agreement.
132. If a conflict of interest does come to light after you’ve started working with a Professional (for example, you later find out the Professional’s firm represents the opposing party in another matter), you should immediately inform the Professional and likely discontinue sharing confidential information until the conflict is resolved. The Professional may have to withdraw from representation as well.
133. By using our platform, you acknowledge that initial communications are not privileged and do not preclude other Professionals from representing other clients in the same matter until a specific Professional-client relationship is confirmed and conflicts are cleared.
134. In summary, provide all necessary information about related parties when requested by your chosen Professional, to enable them to conduct a proper conflict of interest check. This protects both you and the Professional and ensures that confidential information is shared only when appropriate.
135. This Agreement (the Terms of Service) and our Privacy Policy (incorporated herein by reference) constitute the entire agreement between you and NoLegalPaisa.com regarding the use of our Service. If any provision of these Terms is found by a court or arbitrator of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed (i.e., removed) from the Agreement, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
136. In practical terms, this means: if one part of these Terms is void or unenforceable for some reason, you and we agree that it can be cut out, and it will not affect the validity of the rest of the Terms. The remainder of the Agreement will be interpreted so as best to reasonably fulfil the original intent of the parties (you and us).
137. For example, if a specific limitation of liability is deemed unlawful or excessive in a certain jurisdiction, that specific clause may be struck, but the other clauses (including other limitations of liability, indemnity, etc.) would remain in effect.
138. Any waiver by NoLegalPaisa.com of any provision of these Terms shall not be deemed to be
139. Further, NoLegalPaisa.com’s failure to assert any right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
140. NoLegalPaisa.com may revise or update these Terms of Service from time to time in its sole discretion. When we do so, we will post the updated Terms on our Website and update the “Effective Date” at the top of the Terms.
141. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for any changes. If you continue to use the Service after the Terms have been updated, such continued usage shall constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.
142. If you do not agree to the changes in the Terms, you should discontinue use of our Website and Services before the updated Terms become effective. We may (but are not obligated to) notify users of material changes to the Terms via email or through a notification on the Website. However, you should not rely solely on such notifications and should check the Terms page regularly.
143. In certain cases (for example, if required by law), we might seek your explicit consent to changes in the Terms. But generally, the mechanism described above will apply.
144. These Terms (and any modifications) form a binding agreement between you and us. If any modifications are unacceptable to you, you must cease using the Service. By continuing to use the Service after we have posted updated Terms, you are affirmatively indicating that you have read, understood, and agreed to the latest version of the Agreement/Terms.
145. NoLegalPaisa.com reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue (temporarily or permanently) the Service, or any part of the Service, at any time and without notice. For example, we may add or remove features, change the layout or user interface, implement new technologies, or even shut down the entire platform for maintenance or other reasons.
146. You agree that NoLegalPaisa.com shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service. We understand that changes to the Service might affect the way you use it, but sometimes changes are necessary (for example, to improve user experience, adapt to new laws, or ensure security).
147. If you have prepaid for any service or subscription that is discontinued, we will handle such situations in accordance with our Refund Policy or any specific agreement we have with you.
148. Keep backups of important communications or documents as needed, as part of good practice, because we cannot guarantee availability of any specific feature or data forever.
149. We also reserve the right to create limits on use and storage at our sole discretion at any time. For example, we may cap the number of messages you can send in a day to prevent spam, or limit the file storage space for a free account.
150. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we may provide advance notice when feasible and may provide you the opportunity to download your data (for example, your documents or chat transcripts) before termination.
The following section is very important as it limits the obligations and liabilities of NoLegalPaisa.com to you. Please read it carefully.
151. We operate our Service with the aim of providing useful and reliable tools for Users and Professionals, but there are some things we cannot promise.
152. Your use of NoLegalPaisa.com is at your own sole risk. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NoLegalPaisa.com and its affiliates, and their respective officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors, disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
153. Without limiting the generality of the above,
NoLegalPaisa.com makes no warranty that:
154. No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained by you from NoLegalPaisa.com or through the Service shall create any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms. You should not rely on any such information or advice if it’s not explicitly included in these Terms.
155. For instance,
156. To the fullest extent permitted by law, NoLegalPaisa.com (and its affiliated companies, officers, directors, employees, or agents) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages. This includes, without limitation, damages for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, goodwill, or other intangible losses (even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages), arising out of or related to your use of the Service or your inability to use the Service, or the results of using the Service.
157. Some scenarios to illustrate this limitation:
158. In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, some of the above limitations may not apply to you. For instance, certain consumer protection laws might give you specific rights. In such cases, NoLegalPaisa.com’s liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
159. Maximum Liability: To the extent that any liability is not effectively disclaimed above, in no event shall NoLegalPaisa.com’s total cumulative liability to you for any and all claims arising from or related to the use of the Service (including any third-party services or products accessed through the Service) exceed the amount (if any) you paid to NoLegalPaisa.com in the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to such liability. If you have not paid NoLegalPaisa.com any amount (for example, if all your use was on a free basis), our cumulative liability shall be zero to the extent allowed by law.
160. This limitation is an essential part of the bargain between you and us, as the Service is provided at a relatively low cost (often free), and it would not be feasible for us to offer the platform if we accepted unlimited liability.
161. Release: You hereby release and hold harmless NoLegalPaisa.com and its
affiliates,
officers, employees, agents, and partners from any and all liability stemming from the
conduct of any User or Professional or from any transaction or relationship between users of
the Service. If you have a dispute with one or more users or Professionals, you release
NoLegalPaisa.com from claims, demands and damages of every kind and nature, known and
unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes.
(The above release is not intended to apply to any claim of gross negligence,
willful misconduct, or any other liability that by law cannot be released or
disclaimed.)
162. Survival: The disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability in this Section survive any termination or expiration of this Agreement.
163. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement or your use of NoLegalPaisa.com’s services shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except for matters that may be taken to small claims court or for injunctive relief as noted below. The arbitration will be conducted in India, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and any amendments thereto, or any law replacing it.
164. If you have questions about this arbitration clause, you may wish to consult an attorney.
165. Exclusive Jurisdiction: In the event any dispute is found by a court to not be subject to arbitration (despite the provisions above), or if a court is needed to enforce an arbitration award, or for any other litigation permitted under these Terms, such dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New Delhi/Mumbai, India. You and NoLegalPaisa.com consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
166. This Website (NoLegalPaisa.com) is owned and operated by Kaahmuchee Solution Private Limited. All right, title, and interest in and to the Website and the materials available on the Website (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, video clips, digital downloads, data compilations, software, and all other content collectively referred to as the “Materials”) are the property of NoLegalPaisa.com, or its content suppliers, and are protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws (such as copyright, trademark, and patent laws).
167. No transfer of rights: Except as expressly provided in these Terms, nothing in this Agreement or on the Website shall be construed as granting you any license or right to use any of NoLegalPaisa.com’s intellectual property (whether by estoppel, implication, or otherwise). You are only permitted to use the Materials as explicitly authorized by us.
168. 168. Restrictions on Use of Materials: You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, lease, loan, distribute, or exploit for any purpose other than the authorized purpose, any portion of the Materials or the Service, without NoLegalPaisa.com’s express written consent. You also agree not to adapt, modify, translate, or create derivative works from any Materials without prior written permission.
169. Trademarks: “NoLegalPaisa” and our logo and any other product or service name or slogan contained in the Website are trademarks of Kaahmuchee Solution Pvt. Ltd. (unless otherwise indicated, such as third-party trademarks that might appear). You are not allowed to use any NoLegalPaisa.com trademarks without our prior written permission. All other trademarks and logos on our Website are the property of their respective owners.
170. Reservation of Rights: We reserve all rights that are not expressly granted to you in these Terms. Any unauthorized use of the Website or the Materials terminates the permission or license granted by NoLegalPaisa.com and may violate applicable laws.
171. If you wish to use any of NoLegalPaisa.com’s content or materials in a manner not permitted by these Terms, please contact us. We might, in some cases, provide a license for certain uses (perhaps subject to a license fee or other terms). If we do not give you a written license, then you should assume you do not have permission.
172. These Terms of Service, along with our Privacy Policy and any/all other guidelines or policies posted on the Website (which are incorporated by reference), constitute the entire and exclusive agreement between you and NoLegalPaisa.com regarding your use of the Service. They supersede any prior or contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, or warranties (whether oral or written) concerning the subject matter.
173. In case you and NoLegalPaisa.com have entered into a separate written agreement or contract for specific services (for example, a separate enterprise services agreement), and if any terms of that separate contract conflict with these Terms, the separate contract’s terms will prevail for those specific services to the extent of the conflict.
174. No oral modifications: Any changes to this Agreement must be made in writing (either by posting an updated Terms of Service on the Website or through a written amendment signed by an authorized representative of NoLegalPaisa.com). Informal communications or statements by our staff will not constitute modifications of these Terms.
175. If at any time you find these Terms unacceptable, you must cease using the Site and Services. The section headings in these Terms are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect.
176. Your use of NoLegalPaisa.com’s services is also subject to any additional terms, rules, or guidelines applicable to specific services or features that we may post or provide to you. For example, if we launch a new promotional program or referral program, we may post additional “Supplemental Terms” for that program. Any such supplemental terms become part of your agreement with us when you partake in those programs or features.
177. NoLegalPaisa.com’s failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of that provision nor of the right to enforce it.
178. You agree to indemnify, and hold harmless NoLegalPaisa.com, its parent company (Kaahmuchee Solution Pvt. Ltd.), subsidiaries, affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, and agents, from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs) arising out of or in any way connected with:
179. This means if someone else sues us or holds us responsible because of something you did (for example, you posted infringing material, or you misused the platform in violation of the Terms), then you will step in to defend NoLegalPaisa.com and pay any costs or damages we are required to pay as a result.
180. We reserve the right to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you will cooperate with us in asserting any available defenses. You will not settle any such claim without NoLegalPaisa.com’s prior written consent unless the settlement completely and unconditionally releases NoLegalPaisa.com from all liability and does not require NoLegalPaisa.com to pay any amount or take any action.
181. This indemnification provision is intended to supplement, not to limit or replace, any other indemnification obligations you may have under these Terms.
182. NoLegalPaisa.com aims to deliver high-quality services and customer satisfaction. By purchasing or subscribing to any service on our platform, you agree to the following terms regarding fees, cancellations, and refunds:
183. Fees and Payments: When you select a service (for example, a document drafting package, a consultation session, or a subscription plan), the fees for that service will be communicated to you (either via the Website or a written quote). You agree to pay all charges associated with the service in advance, unless other payment terms have been explicitly agreed (e.g., a milestone-based payment for a long project). Payments must be made in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified, and may be subject to applicable taxes (such as GST). If any taxes are due, they will either be included in the price or stated separately. We will issue electronic invoices/receipts for any payment received.
184. Payments are typically processed through our third-party payment gateway partners, which may include credit card processors, UPI, net-banking, or other methods. You must provide accurate billing information and a valid payment method. If your payment method fails or your account is past due, we may collect fees owed using other collection mechanisms (including charging other payment methods on file, and/or retaining collection agencies and legal counsel). Transaction fees charged by payment providers (if any) are generally borne by us, but we reserve the right to charge a small convenience fee for certain modes of payment (you will be informed before payment if such a fee applies).
185. Order Confirmation: After you pay for a service, we will usually send an order confirmation or ticket number to your registered email. This confirmation indicates that we have received your request and payment. If for some reason we cannot fulfil the service (e.g., due to unavailability of a Professional, or a pricing error), we will inform you and process a refund if applicable.
186. Cancellations by User: If you change your mind after purchasing a service but before the service has commenced, you may request a cancellation by contacting us at support@nolegalpaisa.com and referencing your Order/Ticket number. We strive to accommodate such requests, but cancellation and refund eligibility will depend on the timing and whether work on your service has already begun.
187. Delays and Dissatisfaction: We aim to deliver services within the estimated time frames. If there’s a significant delay caused solely by us or our assigned Professional beyond the promised timeline, you can notify us. If the delay is unreasonable and not due to any waiting on the User’s part (like waiting for you to provide information), we will consider a refund or partial refund.
188. Processing Refunds: If a refund is approved by our team, we will process the refund within 15-30 business days from the date of approval. Refunds will generally be made through the same payment method you used originally, unless otherwise agreed. Please note that once we process a refund on our end, it might take additional time for your bank or card issuer to credit the amount back to you.
189. What is Refundable:
190. Payments are collected prior to initiation of services, as described in the operational process of each service. Payments made for consultations, document drafting, ODR, business registration and compliance services are non-refundable once the Professional is assigned or all parties (including professionals) are added to the relevant dialogue box.
191. Assessment and Decision: Upon receiving a refund request, NoLegalPaisa.com management will review the timeline of events, the work done, communications, and the reason for the request. We may reach out to you for additional information or clarification and also consult with the Professional involved. After assessment, we will inform you of our decision regarding the refund. The decision will take into account fairness, the extent of service already provided, and the reason for dissatisfaction or cancellation.
192. Final and Binding Decision: NoLegalPaisa.com reserves the right to make the final decision on any refund request. We strive to be fair and just, but by using our services, you acknowledge that our determination of refunds (and the amount, if any) will be final and binding, and made in good faith according to these Terms.
193. No Refund Circumstances: There are certain scenarios where refunds are generally not provided:
194. Service-specific Policies:
195. We are committed to customer satisfaction and will always try to find an amicable resolution to any issues. The above policies are to set clear expectations. They do not restrict us from accommodating you beyond these terms in exceptional situations at our discretion, but they clarify when we are not obligated to.
196. If you have any questions about our payment, cancellation, or refund policies before purchasing a service, please contact our support for clarification.
197. NoLegalPaisa.com (and its parent company, affiliated companies, officers, directors, employees, or agents) shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations under these Terms, or for any interruption or delay in access to the Platform or Services, where such failure, interruption, or delay results from events or circumstances beyond its reasonable control (“Force Majeure Event”). A Force Majeure Event shall include, but is not limited to:
198. In the event of a Force Majeure Event:
199. If the Force Majeure Event continues for a period of more than thirty (30) days and substantially impairs NoLegalPaisa.com’s ability to provide core services through the Platform, NoLegalPaisa.com reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate access to specific features or the Platform as a whole, without any further liability to the User.
200. This clause operates in addition to any rights available to NoLegalPaisa.com (and its parent company, affiliated companies, officers, directors, employees, or agents) under applicable law, including Sections 32 and 56 of the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
201. Your trust is important to us. If you have any grievances, concerns, complaints, or questions regarding our Services, these Terms, or any content on NoLegalPaisa.com, we have a process in place to address them:
202. Grievance Officer: In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, we have designated a Grievance Officer for NoLegalPaisa.com. The Grievance Officer is responsible for redressing grievances of users in a timely manner.
203. Please direct any formal complaints or notices to the Grievance Officer via email or written letter. In your communication, include your name, contact information, and a detailed description of your concern or issue, including any relevant screenshots, order numbers, or account details to help us understand and resolve the matter effectively.
204. Grievance Redressal Process: Upon receipt of your complaint by the Grievance Officer:
205. Alternate Dispute Resolution: If you are not satisfied with the resolution provided by our Grievance Officer, you may escalate the issue by seeking legal remedies as per Indian law. We remind you that any dispute not resolved amicably will be subject to the Arbitration clause (Section XXIV) or jurisdiction clause as applicable.
206. Contacting NoLegalPaisa.com (General): For general inquiries or support that are not formal grievances, you can reach our customer support team at:
207. Communication: Any legal notices or communications intended for NoLegalPaisa.com under these Terms (for instance, notices of dispute, or notices under the Arbitration clause to initiate proceedings) should be sent to the address of our registered office marked to the attention of “Legal Department – NoLegalPaisa.com”. Sending an email alone might not constitute legal notice for certain purposes, so in those cases a physical notice is recommended.
